Visit Mindful Hands

Mindful Hands is located in a quaint and historic shopping district just minutes from Washington, D.C. We are accessible via 3 airports (BWI, National, and Dulles) and Amtrak (Alexandria Station). Water taxis will scoot you over the Potomac River from Georgetown or National Harbor. And free trolley service navigates up and down King Street from the King Street metro station to the waterfront. Come on down, we would love to see you!

How to Get Here:

Metro: Take the Blue or Yellow line to the King Street station. If you like to walk, it is a little less than a mile to the waterfront, via a lovely tree-lined street of quaint shops and restaurants. Turn left when exiting the station and follow the signs to Old Town and King Street.

Alternatively, you can hop aboard the free trolley. As you exit the King Street station, walk straight ahead to the trolley stop directly in front of the station. We are located at 211 King Street, just two blocks from the waterfront and the Torpedo Factory Art Center.

Ride the Trolley! The trolley navigates up and down King Street from the metro station to the waterfront, making frequent stops all along the way.

It's a fun way to see much of Old Town and, best of all, it's FREE! Mindful Hands is located at 211 King Street, just two blocks from the waterfront. You can exit the trolley at either the City Hall stop (one block west of us) or the Waterfront stop (two blocks east).

Parking: Street parking is usually time-limited and/or metered. There are many parking garages throughout the Old Town Historic District. The closest one to Mindful Hands is right around the corner at the intersection of King and Lee Streets (entrance on Lee Street).

(shhh! The best kept secret in Old Town is the City Hall parking garage which is open to the public after 5PM on weekdays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. At these times, you can park for only $2.00 for an unlimited number of hours. The City Hall parking garage is located right around the corner from Mindful Hands at King and Fairfax Streets (entrance on Fairfax Street).
